sorry to say my experience with the tbred wasnt enough to keep me loyal. yes it was a good cpu and did alot with less mhz but IMO the process is still too new. my buds tbred was slowing down and corrupting data so he sent his back. his max vcore was 1.85.

anyway, i just ordered a P4 2.26b and an abit IT7. i have absolutely no clue how to overclock a pentium:rolleyes: so if there is anything important with the do's and dont's i could use some help. i know they dont like high vcore but other then that im clueless :D

It's just as simple as it gets.

you have one variable.
it's fsb.
that's it

:)

Not quiete...Its got the same variables as an AMD less the Multiplier if the AMD is unlocked.

Factors include Vcore, Fsb,AGP/PCI timings, memory timings etc etc and all the same stuff you would implement with an AMD minus the multiplier as mentioned

PS thats an exellent choice with the 2.26 and the IT7. My only suggestion is to not overjuice the Voltage to exceed 1.75 as there are reports of P4's degradating with overvoltage....Naturally this isnt proven but I personally wont run more than 1.75v
