4870 x2 trouble

I have two Sapphire 4870 x2 in CrossFire x and I have some troubles playing some gams. For example Grid has some artifacts and crash when I try to enter a drift race. A talked with a friend who had the same problem and he told me that I need to update the graphics card BIOS.
Is really that what I have to do?
If so, how can I do this?

afaik the x2 cards where never affected by the early bios issue on sapphire 4870 cards. But shouldn’t be hard to find any info on it in case they where, though
