seriously though, I'm so spoiled by ('no baby sit' boinc) gpugrid and how it works well with wcg, I'm not sure when I'll be back to stanford's client drama. sorry bout fah.. I just got sick of the forums there also.

I'd host a gpugrid comp, if we had a decent way of tracking points for a spreadsheet. I haven't investigated something like that for gpugrid. eoc made it easy for the fah comps.

the main obstacle for making a gpugrid comp would be figuring out how to score it and which stats site to use to make the sheets. it's a lot of work, but go for it otis.. :up: you da man!
it's just a interteam comp, members within xs choosing teams and then tracking each subteam. here's last fah's halloween comp dak was referring to.. http://www.scootplace.net/fah/XS/halloween/

Making sure I understand this:

Everyone on XS who wants to joins a team

Then the person cordinating it would have to look at the team, rip the scores of each member from a given website at the end of each of the 4 weeks, add the scores together for the team total, and condense it into a handy chart to post?

What do you use to make the charts? And would it just be a website like free-dc?

I bet I could make a program to do this... Would probably take quite some time, but would make future ones easy...
I'm really tempted to try....
