Just got this game cheap & it doesn't work. When I hit play, the screen goes black for a few seconds as if the game is going to load, & then it sends me back to my desktop.

I have the latest patch for the game, 1.09.

I got the same game, does the same thing. Never actually played it due to the many problems once you get beyond that one.

Suggestion, smash the CD now and save yourself grief.

I'll check out Ebay before I do anything, I was actually looking forward to playing this game. Four CDs seems a bit to much to smash in my book...
