Hey, I managed to find enough money to buy a new cpu/mobo/ram for my second rig, and I was just wondering do you guys think koolance is sufficient cooling for this comp?>
Its a p4 (sorry u amd fanatics :P)

I guess what Im asking is there a better form of cooling thats equal or cheaper to koolance thats better than koolance :)

Thx for your time :D

i hace the pc-601b, its really nice, it kooled my xp2100@2200 great, only ever got 3-5F about room temp, i would suggest to order it without a koolance waterblock, they are sucky, and get a DDMaze 2 or 3, or a swiftech, and buy 1/4 nipples, thats what i did, i use a DDMaze3, works great, but i cracked my 2100 putting on a HSF, damn i hate them clippy things. Now i cant my 2200 T'bred to post.

Anyway, koolance has a kick ass setup, and would recomment it to you if you have the money, mine was like $400 total, came with window too, i think it was $400, maybe $352, and thats including the Maze3 waterblock from danger den.

look here (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2179) I sold my koolance case and I modded the tubing and all blocks with swifty...

koolance - stock is not great... make sure you replace the blocks or else you'll burn up your chip like I did.

for the money ... go to www.xtwerkz.com and get a QPower from Swifty - you'll pay a little more but garunteed - you'll get better temps and get higher quality....

in fact I just order a QPower from XTW - gonna work up a review of it and all...

my koolance case took 30 seconds to review.... that is about how long my chip lasted!

If you're going to go with a prefab solution, I also suggest the Swiftech QP. For a prefab solution, the performance is great. (Much better than the koolance). You can check out a few of my experiences with the QP here (http://www.liquidninjas.com/reviews.php?op=showcontent&id=5) and here (http://www.liquidninjas.com/reviews.php?op=showcontent&id=13) . I've also recently added TEC units to the QP and the system is handling it like a champ. I'll have a review of that experience published soon.

You need to take a typing class so you get these reviews out quicker.:D

I am the new proud owner of JBELLs old Koolance case. I looked at the QP first, but liked the outward looks of the Koolance better. When I saw JBELL had replaced most of the guts with swifty stuff...well I could not resist it. I think I got the best of both!:D

best thing about em is they all turn on when u turn the pc on, so u aint gotta mess about turning on and off different plugs all the time. why they cant make a simple device to do that with custom watercooling stuff i have no idea.

i wouldnt mind a koolance with swiftech stuff, maybe jbell should make more and sell em :p

not available in uk and they wont ship internationally

interestingly it seems to be free though, with a unit price of $0.00

its also quite new because nobody was using them before. Id still go with a kit anyway, probably the swiftech one since people say its better (and it had better be, it costs £100 more), as long as its really quiet.

yeh, but im not gonna mess about with all that for a couple c difference in temp that a custom setup would probably give me over the swiftech kit, not to mention the HOURS of p***** about trying to set it all up.

hopefully by the time i upgrade stuff in couple months there will be an even better kit than the current ones.
