I know that in dual sli, the bridge only occupies 1 slot, and in tri-sli, you have the bigger bridge that covers the 2 available sli slots... but what if you were to run 2 sli bridges on a dual-sli... therefore taking up both sli slots... would this change performance in any way?

do you understand what i mean? using 2 sli bridges for sli rather than one? would it make a difference?

I dont know... i was tired... bored... and just randomly thought of it... dont hate me! lol

I think the performance would be the same. You can use a tri-sli connector for regular SLI if your cards support tri-sli. It worked fine for me. I like using the hard tri-sli connector to keep the cards spaced evenly.
