Hey Guys, Can GTX 360 rad handle a QX9650 (OC'd to 4.0Ghz) and two GTX 285 FTW's in SLI ? i'm planning to use the kaze 3000's in push pull setup.

Do you think i'll need another 240mm rad ?

I also have a feser 240mm but i dont know where to mount that in the obsedian 800 case

I bought the GTX 360 from danger den ( it is a HWLabs rad though )

I honestly would leave the cards on air bro, I mean at least me I change cards often so watercooling it will just be a waste.

However now to answer your question, I think it'll be ok. Temps might not be as good as just the CPU, but I think you will still be better off than on AIR. Just do it man. :)

You should be good. The GTX rads are fantastic with that fan setup.

Yeah, they love high CFM fans :D

Yes they do. With some rough guessing as to the total heat load (is 600w fair?) going based on Martin's charts he would be at <5C delta, which is quite good.

see now, if he had an i7, he'd be needing something like a MO-RA

But yeah I think that rad will behave good with tall that in the loop, I have a GTX 480 for my i7, and that rad is wonderful man. Honestly, my next rad will be HW Labs

It will handle that loop easily with those fans.

Kaze 3000 in a push pull... this is certainly not going to be quiet....

Bladechai : Yes you are right, i have heard them running around 2800rpm and boy they are loud :p:, but i'm more worried about performance .. and those fans are a must to tame GTX 360 beast

Chicken Patty : Thanks for the advice, yes i have heard that many times that i7 will need more rading and probably a separate loop :p: i love my qx9650  so i didn't upgrade my cpu

Yup! i feel like i'm running 6 turbines when i hear those fans

Now that I figured GTX 360 alone can handle that loop, do you guys think that a push/pull setup will fit at the top of obsedian ? i hope the top don't fall apart :p: .. i like obsedian because of the cable mang. and the nice black color :yepp: .. any other case would be better for me

There are a couple of build logs with them. I haven't seen anyone with pics of the rad and MB mounted yet though. It might work with a little patience though.

If you had to, you could just mount it out side the case. There are other cases that would have more room, but I'm in the same boat as you. I REALLY like that case. From the photos I have seen so far, it seems really well thought out. :yepp:

3000 is too noisy...the kaze 2000rpm fans should be adequate....

i have four of the 2000rpm ones and they are not bad at all. I would get those better.

Yet another build log that will make me itch for that case. :(

Good luck.
