We are pleased to announce the release of the MCR420-QP quad 120mm radiator.

MSRP is $82.95
shipping: Now

Because of our move, we have not been able to publish performance curves yet. However flow curves will be very similar to the triple rad, and power dissipation can be expected to scale linearly compared to single, dual, and triple.

Performance gain of the Delta T water to Air should be (using the same fans):

75% better than single
50% better than dual
25% better than triple

for example

if your Delta T water to air with a single is 20C
with a dual it will be 10C
with a triple it will be 6.67c
with a quad it will be 5C

another simple example using different baseline: if you already have a triple, and your DT water-air is say 8C, then you should expect to drop DT to 8x0.75= 6C (of course using the same fans)

I hope this simple math helps.

looks nice, but is there going to be 140mm rads from swiftech

Wicked! Getting ready to do a new build and was dissappointed I didn't see a Swifttech MCR420 yet! But this is just perfect timing! Thanks Gabe!

Sweet rad Gabe. Looks good. Now if only Skinnee could do some testing with it. ;)

as mentionned above, it will scale linearly with with the other rads of the Quiet Power line of products, since it is exactly the same specs except larger. so just take skinee's results from our triple, and improve the DT water to air by 25%.

I was just teasing Skinnee. :yepp:

nice looking rad, but im sure, people want to know... is it stackable? :D cause a QUAD simply isnt enough here ::rofl::

YES... but dammit. i just built my custom rax box to hold 3 of the mcr320's. man i wish these were out a year ago.

i could have dropped my delta from 1.7C to .5C probably.

i want to stack 3 of em in a row on the bottom of my compy >3>

Will delta T is increasing linearly but price is not :D , hoping to see some improvement there after a while ;)

MSRP from Swiftech:
MCR120 $39.95
MCR220 $53.95
MCR320 $67.95
MCR420 $82.95

Are you disappointed it's not $81.95? :D

lol seriously that's a great price. ~$40 cheaper than the next cheapest 4x120? Seems like a winner to me

Yeah I've been looking at putting dual 4x120 in my next build I'm planning out and with this I can get the Rad + Fans for the cost of just one Rad from the other companies! Seems like a winner to me as well!

Not to mention that is MSRP and all the other rads sell for less than that. I would imagine after a few months you could get them for $60-$70.

Seems like a deal to me also.

Hmmm ...me thinks it is time to go to a bigger case, maybe Antec 1200 and stick two of these stacked in the front like I have two MCR320s now in the Antec 900 :p:

You might be able to do the MCR420 and a MCR220 in the bottom of a TJ07 with push/pull on both.

Depending on what fans you use there probably won't be room to do a push pull in a TJ07 on the 420 next to the PSU

Yea, I don't have the measurements for the case. I just know the MCRs are thinner than XSPCs or TCs. That was the whole basis behind the comment. :)

lol, ya though i think i could get 2 of those quad's above my lcd's :)

i will get one of these some time in the next 6 months, add another triple and make it a 4x4 x120mm rad :) and of course go push pull.

Dude, you keep going and your loop's going to start breaking the laws of thermodynamics. :p:

Love those quads though... kinda wish I had waited on my 320s now.

will there be a proper single pass 4*120mm radiator anytime soon? The hwlabs are quick and dirty conversions: http://www.over-clock.co.uk/ivb/index.php?showtopic=14805

I'd rather go with a proper one than get two 2-342 heatercores and solder them.

well i'm not sure if it's possible, i think so, but i would like to load at my ambient temps. i'm sure once i get a wife i can move the rads to her computer

i think i will stop collecting rads once drop my delta to below 1C under load at my overclock.

Yes, but I cannot tell you when.

If you guys release 140 mm rads, can you also release some rad grills like the AC Ryan ones? I'd only upgrade to 140mm if there was a radgrill on the market.

I'd buy swiftech because I'm assuming it will be thin profile and sparse fins - which none of the other 140mm rads have (that I know).

Really nice price imo, and again Swiftech continues with quality affordable products. I wish I had maybe gotten one of these for my rig. I wonder how this will compare to my stacked 320's? Ah, theres always next time.

Or maybe there will be 420 stackers that I missed the announcement for?

Gabe?

[QUOTE=Wezly;4024270]Hmm, I wonder if I could put one of the 320 stackers on this as well?[QUOTE]

I actually am wondering about this, because I am pretty sure these rads (stackable)run in parallel, and if the two rads are different sizes, they theoretically have different flow rates. Would having two different sized rads in stack work ?

there would be no issues stacking the 2 sized rads but the_dope_chaud, brought up a good point about the flow.

Swiftech has gone with the naming convention MCR-XY0, where X is the number of fans and Y is the fan size (2 for 120mm, 4 for 140mm, etc).

Not really sure why though, since they are the only company that does this
