im looking to get a new receiver for my audio setup, was hoping someone here could help with some recommendations....
the receiver is going to be used in conjunction with my mixer which has two turntables, my desktop's audio (via auzentech prelude) and a 3.5mm input jack (for ipod/mp3 player) running over the two channels. right now i run a pair of technics 3 way 12 inch speakers, plan to upgrade these at some point but will be with something of a similar style (pair of floor standing), just better quality.
I do not do any gaming on the desktop and no serious video watching, so not looking for a receiver geared towards that, just listenting to my vinyl and cd/losseless/mp3 collection
So for this setup im looking for a good quality receiver but do not need something with most of the modern features i'm seeing, are their still high end receivers being made with just basic audio controls/inputs? or can someone recommend a solid, available new older unit? hoping to keep this in the $300-$500 range.
