I don't see anything wrong with the message ... it looks like you clicked the update project button and BOINC manager had nothing to report and thought it had your queue filled to whatever it is you have it set to ... do you have a specific question we can help you with?

snow crash - nothing would be wrong with that message if I had any work units in queu.

I dont have any.

In fact not even all my cores are busy (4 out of 8 cores now..).

edit

just udpated from 6.4.7 to 6.10.4.. got new tasks.

edit

6.10.4 is crashing, trying 6.6.36..

Are you running other boinc projects? are they getting work? If so maybe look at the project weights

Boinc should not leave any core unused ... have you changed anything recently on your profile? You didn't happen to click the "no new tasks" button did you?

no other projects

I have done nothing to boinc for months.

I am still getting plenty of work supposedly 5 days worth. I am running 6.10.4 without issues as well. I run WCG and gpugrid

something must have changed. so weird. I know I had problems in the past where it would run lo, but would still download a new wu whenever it needed one. Have you possibly been having errors and you have maxed out your tasks? I guess you would have stated that.

Have you shut down and rebooted? maybe that may help

Your BOINC client seems to think it's over committed, that's why it's not drawing new work. There's 2 possible causes:

1) you recently shut the machine off for a long period of time(several days) and/or the WU's being processed are overdue or in danger of missing the deadline.

2) the client_state.xml file somehow got corrupted. Open this file with notepad and look at the data below <time_stats>. The first 4 entries should all read 0.95xxxx or higher for a 24/7 machine. If one of them looks really low, shut down your BOINC client completely and edit both the client_state.xml and client_state_prev.xml files so the low number reads 0.999999 (6 decimal places, important!). Fire up BOINC again and see if it draws new work.

I believe you can erase the <time_stats> part completely and then restart BOINC. BOINC will recreate it with the new numbers. Don't forget to make a backup copy before you try that.

But if the file is corrupted maybe other parts also don't match. I'd suggest clean reinstall. De-install Boinc, delete all BOINC folders and re-install.
