Hi m8.

Got a m8 witha TH7-11 and wondered if you could provide a bit of bios info for me :).

Looking for the best ocing bios (air only - nothing fancy), plus a bit of guidance with softmenu settings (wtf is that 5x, 6x etc option? :P).

This particular board seems to have cold boot problems at anything except the fix 33/66 option, and doesnt really want to be stable over 115mhz :/. Im sure its down to the settings in softmenu tho.

If you could post a camera shot of your softmenu screen or something itd be a great help (plus any pointers on any other options).

Thx muchly,

PiLsY.

I dont have the TH7-II anymore, but its a pretty easy board.

I always used the 7D BIOS, but there doesnt seem to be a lot of difference between them.

The AGP/PCI I kept locked at 33/66 only for 3Dmark runs I switched to 1/4.

The differential current thing you can just leave at 6x.

I would expect his memory to be able to go faster than 115 if its Samsung 800-45, but see what difference the 300 MHz setting makes.

For core voltage, wire trick to 1.85V and you can then choose voltage between 1.1 and 2.2V in BIOS. wire trick will also take care of the cold boot prob...

good luck

Still having the TH7 II Raid, I use the same settings and bios as JC described. Bios is Mr.N 7D modded bios.
See that your buddy has some good RIMMS, 128/8 device or 256/16 device sticks. With those, he should be able to run at 140x4 (perhaps more) and 166+x3 if his cpu can hold that speed.
No cold boot issues with mine.

I use the 7F MrN bios, seemed like the best one to me so far. But there isn't much difference really.

My 128/8's are good for 147x4.
