Hello

Dual or single pcb, what one is better, or is there no difference?

That has been talked about at EVGA's site quite a bit.

the single has better watercooling options, with a block installed its a single slot solution.clocks are higher with the dual but u barely notice a diff, trust me i had both.i now have the single pcb(way better)...so smooth.guys stuck with the vhs tape(dual)will tell u to get that 1 .but its not avaible anymore..

Hello. I had a hard time finding a dual board card, many single. But I picked up a PNY XLR8 295 GTX. I am not looking to overclock it or water cool it. Thanks.

I'm sure you will have fun with it... :)

I sure hope so. I am starting hold onto my hardware much longer, and it does pay to get something good. Up grading really sucks. This card should blow my 8800 GTS out of the water for sure.

I think it will for sure!! :)

If you do decide to get into overclocking your GPU a tad, keep an eye on your cards temperature...

Check out this 295 thread for the clock speeds, that allot of the guys are getting on their cards:

im going to quickly highjack your thread for a second.... if i have a corsair hx1000w psu, i have a few of the 8-pin connectors that can be plugged in.. can i use that for the 8-pin input on the card?

The pci-e 8 pin will only work with the video card not on the main board. The two 8 pin connectors are different and only can be used for one thing, no for both.

I have both and they seem about the same to me.
So it doesnt really matter if its dual or single.
