I was just wondering if it was possible/easy to remove the heatspeaders off these ram modules. I was thinking of water cooling.

You can, but they will void your G.Skill Lifetime Warranty, so make sure they are definitely a good set if you choose to do so.

Well I feel kinda okat thinking about it as the next board I have will be DDR3. I have some spare DD2 in my HTPC if worse comes to worse.
