I would like to clock my card up to 985 or a 1000 if possible, I would like some input on what voltage settings and memory settings I should try, thank you if any one can help an old gamer. I have never overclocked a GPU before, so I am all ears

Download GPUTool (http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1383/GPUTool_Community_Technology_Preview_1.html), and start increasing the clocks ("GPU Clock" slider) first few times by 50MHz and then with smaller increments and after each increase test stability with a 3D-intensive game of your choosing, eg. Crysis, Fallout 3, etc. Once you start seeing artifacts in-game increase "VDDC" in GPUTool first to 1.350v, 1.375v, etc. and continue stability test and then if it's stable, increase GPU clock. Don't go much above 1.400v unless your cooling can handle it.

dont take the ram over 1000-1050, all that will happen is a shorter life span it wont help performance

i would say go to 1.375-1.4V and u should beable to get 1ghz core

Use Asus Smart Doctor to increase voltage of GPU
