The Core P M P (TCPMP)

Unfinished, but working project, and despite being unfinished, it's still the
best media (video) player for winmo -- unfortunately, I may add, as it is
about time someone released something newer and better.

depends, core player doesent support hardware acceleration, so if video lags in core player switch to windows media player!

Just to make things clear, we're talking about Windows mobile here (PDAs,
smartphones), not the desktop version. Last time I saw / used it (was a
long time ago, though), WMP for WinMo was still very basic in features
and format support, and I didn't hear hardware acceleration mentioned.
TCPMP OTOH has lots of features and options (and IIRC there are some
options of hardware and rendering?), and so far it has worked without any
lag or stuttering for me -- but to be honest, I never tried big and un-
recoded files, as my old smartphone's usb1.1 connection speed is so slow
and memory card space limited, I always recode to it's native (320×240)
resolution and lower bitrate. Although I've heard from others that with
a 400MHz+ XScale processor it even plays 700MB PC-resolution files
(it is highly optimised for XScale, plays worse on Samsung and TI OMAP).

yepp htcalbum and wmp has hw acceleration in winmo..yeah divy film are working in tcpmp, but when you decode them to .mp4(x.264 codec) vidoe lags like hell in them..that is why i use wmp..

yeah wmp is limited to codecs but this what i am using is fantastic, video quality is superbe(especially when i downscale resolution from HD to 640x480)!
