Hello everyone!:D

I have a question regarding http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=241&products_id=25643

I was wondering if anyone has purchased this and also if anyone has heard of them making something like this for the ASUS Rampage 2 Gene! I wouldn't be asking if I had not first looked around myself! Any and all help would greatly be appreciated! Any of you Gene owners have WC? **btw, I have watercooling stuff for sale! I just have to earn my 100 posts before I can sell in the classifieds.

Thanks,

Don't know of a BP or EK block for the R2 Gene, but Six did post this recently:

That's probably your only bet at this point. Eddy @ EK frequents this forum as well, maybe ask him if they have plans to produce a Gene WB.

ICH10R - gigabyte universal chipset block
NB - danger den MPC universal chipset block (had to file mounting holes slightly)
mosfets - MIPS MCH2163 (order direct via email)

the ich10r chip is low profile and you can run SLI no problem. I checked by sticking my card in either slot

the gigabyte block came with little peel-n-stick heatsinks that I used on those and all over. stable at 200bclck but heat is an issue passed 3.6ghz.. the system is stable at 4ghz but the cores throttle at 100c (100 core temp/85 cpu temp)

actually I just noticed that [auto] for vcore sets it way too high.. I manually specified 1.25v and now temps are much lower
