Good reviews skinnee.

Curious. Does this perform any better then the other tops?

Nope...the Koolance top pretty much brings up the rear. It's worse than stock and stock is worse than the EKv2 and Detroit Thermo top.

+1. If you refer to Skinnee's D5 top shootout (great review, by the way), you can see for yourself.

Well it actually lowers the head pressure from the stock top ratings. If your loop is fairly free flowing, then it shouldn't hurt your temps, especially if you need the different fittings options.

The EK is a better option though as it does boost head pressure over stock top even when using the front inlet and outlet ports.

Also check out the Detroit thermo top. I've heard really good things about it.

Yea, that was a great pump top. I had one before my move to Typhoon III. He might be needing the addition fitting mounting options though. The Detroit Thermo is still basically the stock inlet outlet spots.

Sidewinders carries them also but looks like they are out of the moment.

that's it. If you need the fitting mounting options of the koolance, don't let Skinnee's review scare you. It will work as long as you are not using a real restrictive loop. The EK os is better though, so if you can make that one work, get it.

Some water cooling equipment out there does not allow water to flow very well through them. That is way the head pressure measurements are important. If your blocks and rads are free flowing and your not trying to cool the motherboard, multiple GPUs and your CPU on 1 loop, then you should have to worry that much. Post your loop if you are concerned though.
