Removing fittings on a waterchill l30

Im almost done with my water build. Got the pump yesterday and it has been in a waterchill package and is a L30. Im going to remove the quick fittings and use real fittings. Although i havent been able to unscrew them this far.

Are they glued or just screwed in really hard? Any ideas on how to remove them?

They just screw in. My first pump was a L30 (part of a Asetek waterchill kit), it was OK for the times (circa '03) but the stuff we have now is so much better. ;)
