I had a 9800GX2 XFX that i sent to rma, meanwhile i bought a HD4870 1GB HIS.
And today, i received a GTX275 from XFX.

Now i dont know what to do, wich one i keep?

I was thinking to keep the 4870 and sell the GTX or try to trade it for another 4870+$$, since i have a Rampage formula board (X48)

How is the HIS support for RMA? Since i just used the one from XFX i was realy glad about the support.

System:
Q9550@3.8ghz
Rampage Formula
4GB 1066 OCZ
PSU Corsair 650W TX

If you use a 22" or less monitor, keep the GTX.
If you have a bigger monitor, sell the GTX and buy other 4870 for crossfire.
I live in Brazil too, I have the 4870 but it is on water, soo temperatures are not comparable.
I'll also sell my 4870 now, I'll get the new 5870 next month while I'm in USA

Hi,
I bought an HIS 1Gb 4870 new back in March and then another used one off Craigslist couple of months ago for Crossfire.
Very happy with them. I manually set the fan control (in CCC) to 60% and they run cool.

We've had 65 days over 100*F so far this summer in central Texas.

The GTX 275 is faster, overclocks better as well, 4870's top out around 780 core, memory doesnt downclock which keeps idle wattage high...... the GTX 275 should overclock over 700 core, 1500 shader, and 1300 memory, which will make it faster than a GTX 285 and the 4870/90

Sell them both and get a 5870.

I would keep the GTX275 and sell the HD4870 as it is simply slower, going for a crossfire setup 2 months before ATI are releasing there new Evergreen line isn't worth it... your better off keeping the fastest card and upgrading to a DX11 card when it comes out... selling the HD4870 now and the GTX275 later should give you the money to buy a DX11 card. ;)
