9800gx2 problem.

I picked up a TPower I45 I started out with my 9800gx2 installed with a E6600. When I tried to install os the system would show hdd, and start install process. It would get to blue screen that says starting windows setup and hang there, I tried switching hdd, dvdrom. Same thing everytime. I pulled it and moved it to another bench, just for yje hell of it I installed a 7600gt and it went into install process and completed. Got everything set up and ready to start installing updates. Pulled 7600gt and installed the 9800gx2 and it will not go into windows. What could it be?:confused:

CM1000w, before switching mobo. This psu and card were in a I7 setup and performed perfectly.

Which driver? I've had trouble with drivers since 182.08 with symptoms like black screen until I swapped to the secondary side and found everything there I have two of these and even during one boot on 190.38 the start screen was on the secondary slot and that in a rampage formula

Do not get far enough to install drivers. With the 9800 installed I never get far enough to complete OS install.

I would set up using the 7600gt grt all mb drivers and os sorted then swap to the gx2....I've had to do that in the past on a k9a2 platinum (I used a 7800gt) which is now folding for some months with gx2's and a 98gtx

I did that, installed newest drivers then switched cards. It will not go into windows.

Lowest possible screen res before changeover?...try both dvi outputs...clutching at straws a bit...all power lights on?....primary card blue light on?
