View Full Version : normal temps under gaming with the 4890?
i have the xfx xxx edition 4890, and i get about 74-75*c in furmark - is this normal or should i be a bit worried?

if you havent changed the fan profile from stock that is an acceptable temp for furmark ;) try setting the fan manually in CCC overdrive screen to 40% and then test the temps.

Furmark isn't gaming. Play games to find your temperatures "under gaming".
That being said, they will most likely be lower than what you're seeing now.

FurMark can push your temps quite high compaired to your regular everyday gaming does. I've seen temps on my rig that push 20 degrees hotter in FurMark then gaming. If your getting those temps with FurMark expect to be at least 10 degrees cooler then that and then realize that that card can hit temps over 80 degrees and is still considered ok!
