View Full Version : Running 190.38 on a gtx 295

Title changed because I'm no longer hyper.. this title helps others more. :p:


Anyways so I decided to put my gtx 295 back in the grid because with the new drivers a dummy plug isn't needed and sli mode can be active... that is if it works.
Well I'm hear to say driver 190.38 is working fine.. even with my gaming overclock (no idea how far it is from max... I just set it one day and it worked) on gpugrid I haven't seen any errors YET but it's only been 20 minutes.

One side effect I noticed is that evga precision shows some funny temps.. I probably just need to update it.
I know these cards run hot but :eek:

It might be time to look into some xtreme cooling, aye? :D

Edit: It seems like I have the latest version of evga precision.... they haven't updated it in a while.
