Before the end of the month, we will try to see if cuda2.3 fixes some outstanding fft bug that people with gtx260 are experiencing.

Internal tests showed that it could be fixed, but then everyone must run on 190.xx drivers.

No schedule for the change yet.

gdf

Gives the impression they are on to it.

I should switch my 260 192 shader one that only likes 182.50 drivers and the 260 w/216 shaders that likes 190.38 and see if it isn't the card as much as the machine but everyone is happy. The 192 one is folding F@H happily and the 216 has never errored on GPUGrid. While I would like to know I can't see why I should mess with something that is working so well.

I'll get bored one day and mess everthing up, no doubt.

Will just have to see if it is still going in the morning....if not ....at least I'm ready :)

i got bored today so i tried out the 190.xx they are getting a
little better but my cards are not liking them drivers still. so i went and formatted windows 7 and went back to vista 32 for some reason windows update gave me the 185.85 so im trying them out ive made it to 30% so far with both cards on the same computer that never happen before 1 card would error out in ten minutes so im thinking it will error out at 99%:rolleyes:time will tell:up:

I've had some error out on my GTX275, but only after resuming from a BOINC snooze or project suspend/resume (when playing a game). My temp fix is to completely exit/shutdown BOINC instead which has been avoiding errors. Might be a combo GPUGRID and BOINC issue.
