greetings xs folks i'm new to the forums and to the whole lc scene but i'm planning on chilling the hardware with some good ol water so i thought i'd register and share the fun in my first go at lc :)

the rig:

core i7 920 D0
rampage ii gene (nb,sb,mosfets)
maybe a sli/crossfire in the future
ddr3 3x2gb corsair 1600 c7
corsair tx850
seagate 320gb 7200.12 16mb cache

i think i should go one step at a time so for starters i will just cool cpu and nb, anyway this is what i think i should put on top of it:

CPU = acquacool hk 3.0
NB = swiftech mcw-nbmax
pump= 355, 655, md-20rz
rad 120.2 / heatercore

like i said in the near future there will be plenty of stuff to cool (cpu, nb,sb, 2x mosfets , sli/crossfire) and so which of the pumps i mentioned could handle a loop that big?

1 loop) pump>rad/heatercore>cpu>nb>mosfets> rad/heatercore>sli/crossfire>sb>res/tline

would it be wiser to have a dual loop with all that stuff? something like:

1 loop) pump > rad/heatercore> cpu > nb > mosfets > res/tline

2 loop) pump > rad/heatercore> sli/crossfire > sb

or could i maybe split the outlet of the pump and have dedicated tubing for each chip? (yes i know that sounds retarded) :)

Splitting the loop probably won't help temp wise. I would just do a series loop since it is just the CPU and NB/Mosfets being cooled. If you were going to split the loop, but wanted to share the same res/pump, I would look at either the Typhoon 3 or the XSPC dual loop res.
