I have just received my heatkiller 3.0 cpper version.
The instructions are german.
But hoe do I orientate the block to me core i7?
Which is inlet/outlet?
Also I am using an EVGA classified, is there anything I should be aware of?
Thanks for the help and replies.

The inlet is the one dead center, the outlet is the one off-center.

You got a backplate?

Yes have just fitted the backplate with the red spacers.
See my previous post for my temps.
Thought the temps would have been lower.

What did you use for thermal paste, and how did you apply it?

I used AS5 and applied with the usual rice grain size in the centre of the CPU with a slight twist on the CPU block when placed on top.
It really does feel like a quality item rather than the overpriced swiftech GTZ.

If i use the center as inlet, what orientation do you guy use?,outlet in the bottom section or upper section?, because if i use upper section the Heatkiller logo will be upside down?

Does anyone know whether THIS (http://www.cooling.pl/feser-szybkozlaczka-prosta-sm1016-g14,produkt,551119.html) fittings will fit with HK 3.0 ?

barbs will fit on the HK with out any problems. Check this thread for info on what comp fittings fit on what without 45 degree fittings: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?p=3540441

it depends on your board, if you have a gigabyte board or any with the caps really close to the socket you need to mount it sideways
