when is HTC getting some new gsm in the US

any1 have any ideas ive been waiting for the THD or TP2 to come to the US on gsm and specifically att, it looks like sprint, verizon and tmobile is getting then on the 22nd but nothing for att.

and dose any1 know were i can get an import at a reasonable price

THD most likely wont be coming out.

Imports are not going to be reasonably priced. lol

You should expect them to be coming to Tmobile, ATT and Sprint starting august 15th through sept 15th. Verizon will be late to the show as usual.

What i would do... is get like a 50 dollar phone off craigslist... or get a go-phone and switch sim cards and use that for your cell until the pros come out. You can tough having a crappy phone for a month. ;)

i dont really want android since im not sure on what google will do with it, but that dose look nice except for the ultra low rez and no wifi. why isnt there a phone that dose android and win mobile from what i understand they can run on the same hardware

It sort of makes sense, but its going to confuse people into thinking that its related to the tilt in some way or another, when in reality its two generations newer than a tilt. not one. well... actually now that i think about it... it has almsot the same internals as the fuze.... so i guess it does make sense. As long as the tilt had a good following in the ATT user base.

but the iphone is garbage and its exclusive, its not like u can go on newegg and get an unlocked iphone and your carrier still dosnt have it as the TP2 has now. and the only people who complain about the iphone are on CDMA since they work with the sim spoofer on any gsm network, the tmobo users who want them have them.

I got my Touch Pro 2 on saturday and it is a nice phone. I've come from a Nokia N95 so it's a bit different. The spb shell (http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/) adds chic. The tilt is not as much as I'd like, about 50 degrees they reckon. I had to switch carrier too; the O2 shop isn't going carry it and our company gets 30% discount of the phone and tariiff with them:mad:
