Hey guys.. i just made a thread saying i was going to upgrade my pc.. BUT i just sold it lol. The guy will be making me weekly payments of $250 until its paid off.
I sold him the computer listed in my specs for $2400. Was that a good idea? lol

Now im looking for someone to "build" me a better computer :)
It has to be an AMD
ATI or nvidia is fine.
I dont want to spend more than $2800 but i you can go crazy with it if you want :)
I had the TJ07 case.. TBH i dont like any cases out there right now and the TJ07 is boring to me now. But please.. list some specs and post some pictures :D

Heres some updated pictures of my pc :)

Man, you got really lucky! $2400 for some old tech is quite a bunch even though the pc looks nice.

2.8 grand will buy you a very very nice Dragon system. :)

What about a LiLi V1000Z for a case?

Just put some regular feet on it and I can't see how you could possibly dislike it.

Cheers.

bro is LIANLI not LILI
LiLi is short for Lian Li. :)

Or at least I got the impression of it browsing around the LC-forums on here.

You can try to have some fun with a 550 @X4cores for the same uber result as a 955 on the GD70 too ..

If it works you save another $100bucks:D

Then again a 965 will be Priceless in comparison

Also if you digg around there is Ram that clocks 7-7-7@1600mhz for under $100bucks saving you even more.

You have many possiable outcomes..

I know i stir the Money factor$hit up dont I:rofl:

With AMD you have lots of fun stuff on the bargan table these days.

I added a Phenom II 965 to my post with the specs.

It's coming out in a few days and it would be foolish to pass on it with a budget such as yours.

I'd be going with 2gbs 4890's.

bling bling blue much

MCL SSD's shouldn't SLC be better ? no Raid controller needed...?

I've got a thermaltake Xaser sitting here in my room it's HUGE, and HEAVY.

I think me planned build for Tri SLI was going to be that price, but I got a hiatal hernia :(.

the mlc ssds are fine solong as they are jmicron free, and with the gd70 u can go with 4x4890 that should be the fastest gpu platform. buying and NV right now is kinda  u can get 2 4890 for the price of 1 285 and when the 285 and 4890 are both oced the 4890 cmes out on top, and xfire works on amd and intel chipsets u dont need an x58 or a bad motherboard

Yeah, get the 965 when it comes out, and if you want to wait for the 5870 to come out, grab that and Crossfire them or either get the 5870x2 and you will have a killer AMD machine.

now I know for SSD's, I noticed I play games where they where developed for nvidia graphics.
right now I've only got a lonely 3870, crossfire was being retarded in games, gave me green lines with the second card in, on games.
too bad 4 4890 melt the 24 pin atx plug lol

Yes, THAT is how you do individually sleeved cables. I always thought the murder box and all the mdpc pictures looked like a rats nest when they did individual cables.

thanks Power5 :)

that is actually bare wire (in case you didnt know) and I really loved using it instead of sleeve - the wires are much less massive compared to a sleeved bunch
