hey guys,
i work in a comp store in Australia, and we just received a new 300+ Page Gigabyte book listing all their products.
And i was flicking through the AMD mainboards and noticed one called GA-7VAXP, specs said it featured a VIA KT400 Chipset and supports DDR400,333,266 (remember that thread going around saying that via kt400 wont feature DDR400 support!, looks like it does)
it also has onboard raid, sound and supports AGP8X and LAN also..

im wondering if anyone has these yet> or gigabyte is just showing there future mainboard.
well anyway looks good for via ddr400 support   :toast:

I read an article that said that Gigabyte was going to be the first to release a KT400 motherboard. I believe that they are using the 7vrxp layout.

VIA chipset based mobos are easy to redesign. The pin-outs of the North and South bridge are and have been the same since the KT266. Maybe even earlier ;)

Ever notice that the layout of the KR7 and KX7 Abit boards have striking similarities? Probably a few changes tho.

yes they do look similar, and the picture of the board looks nearly identical to the 7vrxp, i just diddnt think the KT400 was officially released though.
