Hi All,

Here's my current setup:

My concern is, im going to put my north, south & mosfets, as well as two 4870x2's in crossfire - IMO thats really gonna kill the flow rate.

If I had two pumps, such as this:

In a series configuration - Would I gain more flow?

Bear in mind im a complete n00b with flow / pressure / head presure etc :shrug:

Thanks gang!

I would run two loops.
One pump and radiator for the GPU,s.
One pump and radiator for the NB,SB,mosfets and CPU.

Really no need to cool the SB, you could put a fan on it
also it maybe hard to fit a waterblock with 2 GPU,s.

Looks like you already have a D5, so you might want to read Skinnee's review (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=230322) of the Primochill Typhoon III reservoir, here on XS. It allows you to run dual loops on a single D5 pump, with some serious flow rate improvements. It might be a cheaper and quieter alternative to adding a second pump...

Being that you already have the D5 you could go with the Typhoon III, or also for the same price you could pick a second pump and make a second loop to isolate your CPU loop. I haven't seen enough data on the Typhoon III to judge which setup would be superior.

I would ditch the idea of cooling the NB, SB and co, just one loop CPU wise and one loop for the GPU's... far easier to install and maintain. And there's absolutely no need to cool the IOH, put a nice ram cooler on the rams and it will help keep the IOH at a nice level... that Primochill is a heaven sent for D5 users...

+2 mine will be here tomorrow :D

Will save you on having to buy 2 new pumps. Norris has already posted temp differences between a true dual loop and T3's parallel loops and didn't see much difference.

Does anyone know where I can find the bolts used to extend the rad behind the p180? I dont think I could find anything that long for M5 bolts at OSH or Home Depot...
