Very nice. I was curious.. what program is that you are using for your HTPC. I am assuming that is a media extender, and not a dvd / bluray juke box. Does the logitech do a good job of controling it?

Looks like a Network Media Tank, though I am not sure why he doesn't just use the PS3 ;)

The room looks awesome easyrider, but I gotta say, put something up on the walls and floor ! Hehe, the audio reflections must be insane ! You did a great job on the one wall, but the rest need some lovin' too !

Hmm.. NMT.. Did a some research, and see its a unit you buy :(

I am currently searching for a solid media extender / media center with that type of front end for my movie library. Want some easy and simple. The hunt continues :)

Nice, looks like you're running Media Browser. I just had a few questions. How do you have the remote set up? Are you using a USB-UIRT receiver? Are you using Girder/EventGhost to map the IR signals? Thanks

Well, that is some serious value!

1.89£ for the screen?

I would have mounted the screen a little closer to the seating positions, in such way that when you pull it down it goes in front of the LCD-screen and further down. Less work for the neck.
Also, if you have room for it, move the sofa 50cm out from the wall and mount the surround speakers further down, it will enhance the surround feeling ;)

Looks like you have done some work with the acoustics in the room

Think we need a thread for this kind of stuff ^^

easyrider you ever tried XBMC for Windows?
i think you might enjoy that 100x's more than the mediocre MediaCenter in windows.
it can also do 100x's more things.

and it uses the same style of screen that you have on the tv now, plus about 6 other styles.

Nice:up:

I sold the TV few days ago and lowered the screen. Far better.I have also moved the centre speaker so it now sits on top of the AV rack.Far better.

I just have to make a few more acoustic panels and I may hang a black curtain on the back wall.

Will post some updated pics.:)

Turn the center right side up, as if it were a bookshelf speaker...then listen for the difference ;)

Great! ;)

Moving the center more towards the middle of the screen or even at the same level as the front speakers really does do a trick! =)
