She has arrived just over a week ago now, my desktop PC was stolen so decided to get this for when im not at home i can take it with me.

I have done some video encoding & lots of gaming on here & a very happy, not as loud as i thought she would be when gaming & general use, when encoding & all cores are at full load gets a little noisy but no worse than my old laptop.

No sure the exact weight but shes pretty dam heavy

Have run 3dmark 06 straight out of the box & got 12575

so how does it perform?

very well plays my steam games such as tf2, css, l4d @ 1920x1200 maxxed full AA &AF

plays wolfenstein, FEAR 2, RESIDENT Evil 5 @ 1920x1200 maxxed out with varying amounts off AA&AF between 2 & 8X

Crysis warhead on the other hand @ 1920x1200 on gamer settings with no AA runs at about 11fps, but i was kinda expectin that as my i7@3.6ghz 1600mhz GTX280 desktop system struggles with it.

all in all its a fkin excellent laptop for gaming, when im away from home all i need is this a HDMI lead, mymouse & keyboard & its jusst like being at home

How loud? What about the temps? Weigh? Battery life?

You mentioned its overclockable. By how much?

I'm really interested in the temps as well.
