hello guys :) Please bear with my just a little.

I have my system fully operational for almost year now. But I never cared to calculate how efficient it runs. Pictures (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=3271626&postcount=10568)

Now that its summer and my room temperatures are a blistering 27.5ºc I need to drop about 4 or 5ºc from my water to compensate the addition of a 4870x2 that replaced the single 4870 I had before. Its hurting my CPU overclock.

But before making blind changes, I need to know if my WC setup is running at its max so I can know for sure if an extra radiator will help. More powerfull Fans is not an option because my hears hurt with high noise.

setup being cooled by WC:
E8400 @ 4500mhz 1.3v (It ran IBT for ever withour errors. Now dropped to 4250 because the water is running hotter due to amb temp and gfx)
Gainward 4870x2 @ 800/950

WC system:
all 1/2 tubing
1x MCP 655
1x D-tek fusion v2
1x EK full cover block hd4870x2
2x 240 GTS stealth
2x noctua nfp12
2x SILENX iXtrema PRO SERIES

I have the temperatures data for the following:

Air into radiator / water temperature before radiators / Air out of radiator / CPU realtemp
Idle: 27.5º / 32º / 31º = 37º
Load: 27.5º / 37º / 36º = 75º (I need this to be 70º or lower)

I reckon my radiators are giving all my Fans can take. Whats your thoughts?
Depending where your thoughts go, I'm planning adding an Feser X-changer 3x120 and 3 more silent noctuas, to a new case NOX HX (http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NOX/Coolbay_HX_APEX_700W/3.html)

thanks :)

With water temps this high you definitely need more rad power. Feser might be a bit of an overkill seeing that Swiftech can do pretty much the same for much less $.

For radiator use consider Gentle Typhoons instead of Noctuas, I just got mine [1850 prm version] and I can't believe how quiet it is. @12V it moves about as much air as S-Flex 1600 while being MUCH quieter. Running them @ 5V on Swifty triple rad is well enough to get rid of the additional heat so why spend more?

thanks

considering the amb temperature, my Delta is only ~9º

is delta of 9º that bad?

have you checked basic things - like making sure your air flow thru the radiator is not restricted in any way?

Isn't the GTS Stealth a high-cfm rad?

And you have low-cfm fans?

well, I see your point. Space was a concern and as you can see in the pictures I couldn't put a regular sized rad in there lol...
Relttem, I don't think so, but you can see for your self in the pictures link above.

IXP-74-14 has 72cfm and NOCTUA NF-P12-1300 has 54cfm. They aren't the fastest but not the slowest either.

So you guys agree that having the water temperature the same as the output air means my radiators are only bottlenecked due to the airflow available? So my choice is to add faster (noisier than the ones I have) Fans? how about adding another Rad with more three noctuas? wouldn't that drop the temp as well?
