I have an idea about what to do about ES chips on HWbot. I haven't visited HWbot in forever but iirc ES chips are banned from submissions right, I'll check later. Anyway, why not have a tiered system. Like two divisions. One is the current system for the amateurs, and by amateur I mean only not sponsored or financially compensated have access to hand picked chips etc. the others is the no holds barred professional league.
A lot of people seem upset by the fact that the overclocking sport/hobby is becoming professional. I see it as a good thing a way to provide money to folks doing what they love is sweet imho.. I don't have the reseources to buy hardware at this level consistently nor do i have the time to devote to tweaking and learning.
I think this system might make the league more fun. I mean there is a huge difference between pub football and the premier league, right. but the amateurs still have fun even though they don't have the best of resources and pay. Don't take this analogy to far, lol.
This is only a suggestion, I hope the idea leads to a better one or something.
