having a look around on the gpugrid forum and saw the following comments:
Is anybody else seeing this ? I've not long set up a new system. i7 920 processor, two GTX 260's, Gigabyte EX58-UD5 motherboard and Vista 64 SP2. Nvidia controller shows SLI active, as does GPU-Z. Boinc is running two GPUGRID tasks, one on each card !
I am running the latest beta driver 190.38 with boinc 6.6.36. I thought it might be this or perhaps because the motherboard can handle SLI (Nvidia) or Crossfire(ATI)generically i.e. without the plug-in SLI module between cards.
Previously SLI had to be disabled to allow boinc to see the devices seperately.
____________
I;ve just read the thread "Cuda 2.3".
With the introduction of 190.38 GPU's are seen as seperate entities with SLI on, Brilliant !!!
Just by the way this does not work in fah but seems to be a go here in case anyone is interested (Naja you were asking in the past weren't you)
