I want to move boinc from its current location to a dedicated folder on my c drive.
Just reinstalling the program seems ok but what files to move from their current location???

find your data directory.
if you're unsure where that is:
uninstall the current version, it should leave the data dir in place. then when you install it again, click advanced and it should have your old data dir location still in there. physically move the data dir to it's new location, and then finish the install with the new locations selected during install.. that should bring it back up and running at the new location with all your settings and projects in tact.
