Perhaps it would be a good idea to sticky this.. it looks like a lot could be done for Alzheimer's disease by continuing to fold, as we've been making headway for protein mis-folding with Alzheimer's in the last 5 years!

Shouldn't this be in the f@h forum?

Oh and speaking of stickies... I think we need to condense them all as much as possible. I'm on a 24 inch screen and I still have to scroll past the stickies to see the first topic. :p:

There is a link to artcle in F@H already. Leave it here as anything that draws attention to the projects is a good thing. Someone may see it here that didn't in F@H.

Yeah I didn't see it either in the F@H section and that's why I said what I said. It makes better sense now, thanks. :D

Excellent read. It's very nice to hear about the actual benefits coming from our CPU time and dollars (electricity).

Having it here was a good thing I think. I had kinda wanted to tinker with f@h on the gpu's. That article gives me a solid reason to latch onto and take the dive. Watching my mother deteriorate from Alzheimer's was a driving force for joining this team back in the day. Sounds like much more pain for my wallet, air conditioner and power bill to come.

LOL.. now, would you pleeeease pay my electicity bills for folding? :D

Also, it's heating up my office room in Florida, like a furnace! I gotta build a rig like this: http://www.pugetsystems.com/submerged.php (as you scroll to the bottom, you'll see some of the improvements..)
