Hey,
I recently encountered some problems with my computer.
When attempting to boot windows, I get an "acpi mode incompatible" error message.
Changing the acpi mode in bios doesn't seem to fix the issue.

When I try to reinstall windows, I get the same error message...

Abit nf7-s v2.0 (It doesn't work with my spare bios chip either)
2*corsair pc3500xms
Powercolor R9800se (or Creative geforce II gts)

1*WD 600BB
1*Maxtor 20Gb
1*Seagate 20Gb
Philips 48*16*48*
Pioneer dvd-119
...

I think this issue is motherboard related.
I've changed pretty much all of the other components...
Thanks for your time!

I've tried some other things, and by now, I'm able to install and boot windows, but my computer has the abilities of an AT pc...
I'm in contact with the local abit support and currently solving this problem...
Hopefully I get a new motherboard, cause this ain't funny anymore...
