I never thought I'd say this, but running WCG has improved my gaming :p:

In all seriousness, it's perfect for running older apps with dodgy framelimiters - firing up System Shock II for the first time on my i7 machine, I was getting ridiculous stutter and screen refresh issues. Couldn't remember having issues on my old Q9450 setup, so I rebooted and forgot that Boinc would automatically fire up work. Ran silky smooth, thought the reboot had fixed my issues, then remembered WCG was running away in the background. Prime95 or IBT take up too much processing power and games lag, older games have framelimiter issues without some load, but WCG is just perfect.

Has WCG fixed any problems for you today? :D

It helped a friend of mine get past speed step which was locked in the bios.

It hasn't helped me today but hopefully it can help me in a big way in the future.

no not really, but i hope it will:up:
my crappy d925 is alright for playing anno 1503 and wcg....as i guess if you have quadcore and playing not games like gta 4 or crysis wcg can still work in the background because only 2-3 cores are used when gaming

I've had mixed results gaming while WCG is running. Some games run fine (guild wars, assassin's creed, some UE3-based games, and so on), others take a small but managable FPS drop (CoD4), while others take a big FPS hit and stutter (most Source games) or even refuse to work at all (Mass Effect).

I usually only find this out when, like you, I forget to turn WCG off before launching said games :p:

No source engine game problems here for the most part.
