Hello,
I upgraded my video card in my old Dell Inspiron 8200.
Other upgrades I made are installing at Intel pentium 4(M) 2.2 GHz from a 1.5GHz.
The old video card was nvidia gforce 2 go 32mb.
I am running the latest build of Ubuntu.
I purchased a nvidia gforce 4 440 64MB video card that is compatible with my laptop.
I reinstalled ubuntu and everything was looking great. I then install the nvidia ubuntu drivers and restarted.
I get the loading logo and the the screen turns off. I can still log into ubuntu and and when I shut down everything acts normal and I get the normal ubuntu shutdown screen.
help me figure out what is going on.
