Very nice. :slobber::oscar::oscar:
The base looks pretty thick tough.

Looks like its gonna fall through the board and keep going until it hits China.

The one word that comes to mind whenever I need to describe Stinger blocks is

"BEEFY"

looks good, reminds me somewhat of the Sub Zero Water Blocks

Do want. What size TEC?

Wait, wait... 3 barbs? I may be new, but I've never seen a block with 3 barbs yet. Anyone care to elaborate the purpose?

1 in and 2 out, even water distribution.

For parallel rads or something? I guess I fail to see the purpose of 2 outlets.

Fresh water blasts the block surface directly over the core with the warmer water exiting away from the core.

I guess thickness is better than length. . . .

LOL, cool mount CD but that block is a little behind the times :D

Its huge and beefy. Plenty of copper
wonder what the temperatures are like?

Wow. Fstfrddy is still at it huh. Cyber, is he still making these on a drill press?

I am not sure how Fred makes these. And I have no useful data about it's performance. I chose the Stinger over the HeatKiller because Fred made it for me...and I guess I liked that fact more than being on the HK bandwagon. I do like the look of thoe HK blacks though...

Not ovely thrilled with how the LC is cooling the D0 920...still a lot hotter than I would like...I doubt that is influenced all that much by the block...since there are a number of factors to consider. Test mounts showed anice distribution of TIM so it's making good contact and it flows fine...

I get 55C Load according to Real Temp using a PA120.2/MCP655 Vario and a pair of YL Mediums. I think better fans might help.

Still an improvement over the Mugen2 which gave me 66-68C load temps with a single low speed fan.

No, he's had a manual mill for a while now.

The Stingers really have that nice custom all metal look, very unique from any others.

What program are you using to load the CPU, WCG? At what speed/voltage is the chip running? Is HT on? Those temps are actually pretty good if that's LinX w/ HT on.

Yeah the BIOS is set to Optimized defaults Core speed is 2.8 with HT on Crunching WCG. I need a better revision 920 I'm thinking...

Lower restriction since the water has more paths through the block ?

You could see lower restriction as a result, but this is the sort of design that was often used for center-inlet blocks, before multi-chambered designs (i.e. Fuzion, HK3.0, etc) came into vogue

That's not happening :D the block is in service. Maybe fstfrddy can oblige.

Thanks Martin. I kind of lost track a while ago and I always thought it was impressive how he did those earlier blocks on a drill press, really time consuming doing it that way.
