With this mobo where do you find the actual voltage that the ram is getting I don't see it anywhere in bios or any programs. I need to do the vmodd for it and I know how to do that but just need to find the place to check the the memory voltage. The vcore goes up to 1.72v in bios so that seems to be good.

HEHE !!!! i hate that about the gigabyte bios !

What have you been able to do with your A64 so far corrupt ??

My first A64 was stable at 2750mhz @ 1.85v, my new one back from RMA will only do 2.7ghz and it take 2v to do that !

Well I'm using the sata raid so I'm not getting to far at all 220 seems to be it, but really haven't played with it much don't even have the prommie on it yet. It seems that it doesn't like 2 sticks of ram at all but using just one in the center dimm works good but without a pci lock everything is just crap. But mainly as it looks I won't be seeing 2.3g's out of this rig but it is very fast stock for sure. I'll just wait till someone makes a good mobo but until then looks like its going to suck to be me.

OK,lol. Ya I was gonna do some vmodds but from what i see its pointless since I'm using sata raid.

I'm sure this thing could fly if I just used a old drive with my 66mhz raid controller but I don't wanna go that far for a benchie, lol.

Corrupt there is a setting in bios in the Frequency/Voltage menu called "Auto Detect DIMM/PCI Clk" it is enabled by default, why don't you play with it and see if it has any effect when its disabled.

I changed it too with no noticable difference in OC, but I'm using IDE drives.

Ya this kinda sucks but the cpu is still dam fast.

Kinda sucks spending $300+ for raptors and I have to use a IDE drive so I can overclock. Once agian Nvidia you rock, lol.

By the time they fix this problem nobody will be using this chipset no more, we will be using some other Nvidia bugged chipset instead, hehe.

I flashed my K8N with the K8NNXP 940 bios.....i was able to get to 300 fsb 7.5 multi 3/2 devider, so i think it solved the the fsb problem, I had to play around for several hours trying to find the right combination of fsb multi and divider to get the best performance. finally got 240x10 5/4. (My ram Sucks) this has been 100 percent stable for 2 days but then again i dont have sata drives.
