If I were to use this block in a reverse-ATX case, should I install it the same orientation as if it were standard ATX? Basically, should the logo be right-side up, or upside down. Using i7.

Pretty sure you can have it either way

Orientation of the block is in relation to gravity, not the board. For one thing, with the outlet higher than the intake will help in ensuring all of the air is out of the block. There is a good thread about this here (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=224976)

I guess that I should re-phrase my question...

i7 has an off-center die, correct?

With that in mind, if the motherboard was upside down, would it be best to have the inlet on the top, or bottom?

What if the board is horizontal?

No matter what you do the HK's contact patch will be longer going the direction of the (twobolt side) vs the (one bolt side) if you look at the baseBolts.

It does matter that you make shure the Lenth of contact patch goes across------> all cores. If you dont make shure of this then the two ouside cores will be a lot hotter due t almost no contact, The HK is heavily bowed and More So than a D-Tek.

More info @link below@ LINE #51 and on will show how the contact patch is Stock and what you can do to make it perform a little better.
