Generic WC setup survey online

For those that might find it interesting I threw up a quick survey to gather data on the configurations of members watercooling loop (based on a comment I made on the CPU block thread). It has just 6 questions, around loop amount, pumps, radiators, block configs, flow and such. Nothing complex, but I thought it might prove interesting to know how folks have their systems configured overall.

I'm using the free survey setup, so I think it's limited to 100 responses. If there's a lot of use I'll pay for the next tier which will allow for more responses as well as correlation of the answers for trends (ie of those that have multiple loops how many have multiple pumps per).

Also, I kept the number of questions low and simple, if people think a more complex survey is in order I'll whip one up based on community feedback.

i did your survey, but how do i see the results?

Well, I either have to subscribe so I can "share" the results or I'll have to do some cut/paste/formatting work. I'll probalby just pay the 20 bucks for the first month then I'll be able to share and correlate the results.

There's 10 completed surveys so far. I'll see how many more we get in tomorrow and then see about posting the results.

How do you define average and high flow pumps? DDC 3.2 +top would be rather high flow compared to an Eheim, but low flow compared to an Iwaki.

I was attempting to keep it "simple" but your question is a good one. There's a couple of things I'd like to change on the survey (more options for block configurations, improve the "flow" questions, etc). Unfortunately once the survey starts changing the questions would mean a whole new collection.

Once this runs for a bit, and I see the types of responses in the "Other" choices, I'll rebuild the survey as version 2, but I'll keep it short and sweet ;)

Yeah, in restrospect I probably should have a question on "how many systems do you WC". I'll save that for V2 :)

I think what will be really interesting is going to be some of the cross tabulation of answers, such as for those that have a single loop how many run multiple pumps.

I'm sure there's more that can be added.

BTW, 47 responses so far. We're getting a good statistical base I think.

Just found out I can add choices after the fact. I've added choices to the loop configuration questions. Those of you that already answered, there's about 9 "other" responses that wont reflect the new choices, but future responses will. If I can find a way to tweak so the tabulate properly I will.
