Hey guys. I'm having trouble finding a decent laptop for the price I'm after. The target was $1K, and I can find decent options for $1.2Kish. Perhaps some of you know of some brands/models/deals that I haven't stumbled upon yet.

Basically, these are the things I'm after:
- 1920x1200 or 1920x1080* (LED backlit preferable but not required)
- 4GB of RAM*
- 7200 RPM HDD, bigger the better+
- Wireless N*
- Decent GPU, though not necessarily amazing+
- Good battery life+
- CPU fast enough to decode reasonable bitrate H.264*

* = Requirement
+ = Semi-flexible

I don't really intend to do much gaming on the thing, but I don't want to close that door on myself. I've got a business trip coming up and need something to do in the down time, after all.

Primarily, this will probably end up being used for HD video playback and general purpose usage for stuff like MSN, remote desktop, etc.

Any of you see something like this? The closest I've found so far would be the Studio 15/17 models from Dell.

Ok, nevermind. I guess this section doesn't see much traffic.

I had to go ahead and order since the thing is time sensitive. I ordered a Dell Studio 15.
