Hi, I have a new Thermochill PA 120.3 mounted sideway. I am wondering what exactly does the screw at the end of rad do? From what I know it is suppose to help bleeding. I am thinking about usint the screw instead to help stabilize my mount by attaching it to a case fan grill.

Am I safe to remove the screw or it is connected to the internal water reservoir in some way?

Thanks for the help.

I thought we had to screw something due to TC getting new ownership :o

Haha, I got this few months back and did not have a chance to use it until not. Since my build do not require screw mounting so I personally don't see any problem with TC rads.:)

its a bleed screw for removing air when mounted vertically.
only problem with using it as a support is it leaking if the bracket moves

It's a short screw with a rubber washer. It's a brass screw too, so be really careful using it for anything else than to plug the drain/bleed hole.
