Been this way all day. Since the lag starts as soon as the packets leave my ISP to the AT&T network, gaming is the pits.

Add in game lag and we're seeing spikes in the 3000 ms range :(

I feel the pain SJ, Although My loss from OOL has dropped it still is a bit spiky :( the thing is that we payed it all down for a 2 year contract at 29.99 so we cant get any money back or whine :/

Heh - thanks. Here in the toolies, I'm doing $59.95/month for 512/256. No contract but Golden West wants $99.99 for 1500/384. No other broadband so I'm prolly more stuck than you lol :P

My speed is good enough for gaming as long as only 1 or 2 of us are online at any one time. Spikes, big ping and lag are gone though, AT&T and/or Golden West fixed whatever it was :)

I got ADSL plus a set rate for my long distance as a package...DSL works out to $59.95 mo for 1500/384 thru Verizon. As fast as local cable, but dedicated line. I'm happy with it.
