Here is the question. I want the upgrade my HP Dv9608nr to have a intel motherboard/CPU and a ATI/Nvidia GPU/Chipset, Is there any motherboard out there right now that will fit within my Dv9608 without modding it. Because god this Turion 64 X2 TL-58 is slow.

Why not just replace the processor? Unless that's the highest end Turion for your socket

You could always add more ram. That often helps, with a 64bit os.

I don't think it's possible.
It's the chassis that's built around the mobo, not the mobo that's built inside
the chassis in most cases. Even though hp has some models that have
similar-looking chassis, on closer look you'll find that some connectors,
screwholes are placed differently.

If you want to replace the whole mobo, cpu, gpu, why not just buy a new
laptop?

the highest Turion is the TL-66 and still. The processing power sucks.

Already have 4GB of DDR2-800mhz

Because, Things are not cheap. HP Pavilion dv7-1137us, HP Pavilion dv6-1050us ,ASUS N80 Series N80Vn-X5 are some I'm thinking about. I might sell mine to get some of that money. Dang.

What about adding a ssd that should speed things up alot.

I was thinking about that. The HD that is currently in there is a ATA/SATA1 160gb I do believe with 5400rpm and a 8mb cache. From the way it feels/acts. It's sluggish at best.

I think it's easier and probably even cheaper (less chance of f-ups)
that you sell your current one and get a higher-power new or
open-box or used one, then to try and mod a different mobo into
the chassis.

Btw what do you need more processing power for?
How exactly does it feel slow? Apps load slow, apps execute slow,
hang-ups/slow-downs after a time? These point to different parts
as bottlenecks: hdd, cpu and ram.

CPU only processes at 5 GFlops at best.

And GPU, Gets less then 20fps doing nothing in a 2D game. Man the Geforce 7150 Go is utter crap.

Integrated graphics were never the thing for gaming ;)

If game performance is what you are looking for, is there a graphics
card slot in that laptop, with appropriate cooling? Then that may be
one option. The other option is to get another laptop with a stronger
cpu and decent, discrete graphics.
Here's a good site (http://www.notebookcheck.net/Comparison-of-Graphic-Cards.130.0.html) with mobile gpu specs, benches.
