Have you connected the PSU 6-pin , or 4-pin, power cord directly into the VGU?

i have connected the two PCI-e power connectors that came with the PSU directly from PSU to GPU, (no convertors etc) it has been working fine for months untill recently giving this errors :(

Have you changed or updated drivers recently? Also, do you have a continuity meter to see if you possibly have a bad cable? I would suspect more overall system instability if the PSU was failing as opposed to only the GPU power warning.
