That time again, pop on over to ATi (http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/winxp/radeonwdm-xp.html?type=xp&prodType=graphic&prod=productsXPdriver&submit.x=6&submit.y=11) to pick up the new Cat 3.9's, and hope that they are better than the last lot.

And I should mention, cheers to daddy_fizz for alerting me to them, I'm not trying to steal the find.

:D

Not sure if those are the same build i have been using.. but i havent had any problems with them. If your system hangs with COD full game, then there it prob. will hang with these too.

But the fix is allready under testing... guessing the hotfix will be released after the quick testing is done.

I had no problems with COD with the 3.8 drivers. No hangups, nothing. Using the Omega drivers.

First thing that I notice though is that the screen builds up pretty slow in Windows. If I scroll this IE screen down it takes about a tenth of a second for the screen to build up. Anyone else see this?

Yea, here now too.
A reboot fixed that. Probably because I switched my no 2 monitor to no 1.

No problems here so far. About 50 points faster in 3DMark2k1. Nothing special.

Those scores are within the margin of error. How many times did you run them and did you average them?

Good to see the new ones out. Wonder if it's worth waiting for the Omega versions or not...
