Ok first of all. Hi i am new here and was just reading the forums last night when i saw a thread about some people overclocking their socket 939 3500+ clawhammers.

I just figured id share my clawhammer overclocking experiance and see if i cant get any better clocks out of this old puppy.

First my system specs

Thermaltake purepower 500w
Asus a8n-Sli deluxe
Amd Athlon 64 3500+ Clawhammer 2.2ghz stock ( Koolance cpu-340 waterblock )
XFX 8600GT XXX ( koolance chc-122 waterblock )
2gb ddr400 ocz el plat ram
160gb seagate barracuda sata2 hdd

i have it overclocked and running stable at 2.6ghz
with these settings.
FSB 237mhz
Mulitplier 11x
Mem divider 333mhz
HTT 4x
Stock Voltages!!!!

i have not touched any voltages yet. but even under heavy load the chipset/cpu is not even close to being hot. i have plenty of cooling room still to oc. i am hoping by messing with the mem dividers and cpu/ram voltages i will see 2.7 or even 2.8ghz stable.

if anyone has any other idea's on how to get it to clock a bit higher plz feel free to let me know.

Thanks

EnJoY
